Avicado on the Road

Our final events of 2024 had everything: visits to partners, customers, and our annual gathering with our fellow Avicadoans.

Pitstop:

We kicked off October 2024 with our annual Pitstop gathering. Pitstop is our annual team meetup – bringing all of Avicado together in one place to connect, collaborate, learn, and have some fun. It’s always great to meet new team members in person for the first time. We had a great time, even though it was cut short due to Hurricane Milton.

CMAA:

Nick Caravella and Christy Hunt wrapped up October in San Francisco at CMAA’s annual conference. Nick joined in on the interactive panel session, Hands-on AI & Automation Strategies featuring industry experts who shared how cutting-edge technologies like AI can revolutionize project management. Nick emphasized the importance of a data culture and the need to own your data model. Looks like they had a great audience!

COAA:

In November Rebecca Fiorentino, Dan Moskowitz, and Mike Rubin headed to Atlanta, Georgia for COAA Connect 2024. They met with owners and partners to discuss ways to optimize project management systems, elevate data insights, and drive success across capital programs. They participated in a COAA Cares event benefitting The Sandwich Project with an opportunity to help make a small dent in a hunger issue.

Groundbreak:

November also brought Avicado to Denver, Colorado for Procore Groundbreak. We enjoyed discussing how Avicado can help Owners using Procore get the most out of their systems and data. Our team attended sessions, held conversations on the show floor and mingled with Procore team members. Justin Mitchell joined a panel session on Navigating the Contech Market Today. We learned more about exciting things to come in 2025 and finished the event at the Bash where Pitbull proclaimed: “We’re all groundbreakers one way or another”.

Infraday New York:

Finally, Nick Caravella headed to New York City for the final Infraday of 2024. At the panel session, “Shaping the Future of Urban Transformation in the Northeast Corridor”, Nick shared insights alongside industry leaders as they explore innovative strategies for urban planning, design, and development.
